It is a 4–5 hour Royal Enfield ride to ancient Gorkha, the untouched and captivating town of Nepal. Some 300 years ago, Nepal was divided into 50 tiny states, and Gorkha was one of them. The King, Prithvi Narayan Shah, the founder of the Shah dynasty, unified Nepal into one kingdom. His Gorkha Palace sits on top of a hill at an altitude of 3281 feet. Then, ride toward a beautiful village called Bandipur with plenty of ancient temples and houses (a night stay at pre-booked accommodation). Then, in the morning, you travel to Besisahar for Ghalegaun village, which is located at the foothills of the Lamjung Himal in north-central Nepal and is home to world-famous Gurkha Soldiers, the Gurung. Upon arrival at Ghale Gaun, the mother group or member of the host family welcomes you with Tika and Garland (Mala). Dinner with the members of the host family and overnight. Finally, we reach Sirubari village via Pokhara and Syanja, which is also one of the most attractive villages in Nepal. The village is neat and clean, very colorful and warm, while the people are friendly, well educated and are enthusiastic about tourism. Sirubari is a compact farming community village. The unique attraction of Sirubari is the fact that it is a model for the growing new trend in tourism in Nepal. The major attractions of Sirubari village are observing the daily lifestyle of the Gurung community. These typical Nepalese villagers will look after you, entertain you and give you a taste of true Nepali hospitality, which you are not likely to experience in the cities.
The other worthwhile thing is the panoramic views of the Himalayas, which are exquisite. A stay in hospitable villages during this tour will be an undoubtedly rewarding and unforgettable experience in your life.
